Aims to improve housing-related support services for vulnerable people (including victims of domestic violence, older people and teenage parents ) including those who might be at risk of homelessness. The type of provision offered includes housing management, housing-related support (such as independent living skills), home care, meals services and personal care. Budget of £1.8 billion for 2004/05. An estimated 250,000 units of housing-related support compared to 100,000 in 2000. |
